HOW WE WORK
REMOTELY. We can provide packages of software along with procedural information, for their initial installation and future operation and support, for you to deploy in your own time.
IN HOUSE. We can work with you as part of your project team to install the frameworks you require up to and including the full Programme Office Set Up package.
We have no corporate lawyers or expensive contract negotiators acting on our behalf. Instead a contract rate and duration is agreed at, or prior to, interview stage when the Portfolio Consultant attends the your office and discusses your requirements with your representative.
Following agreement of contract rate and duration, the Abbermist Portfolio Consultant works within your organisation's office. At this time the Abbermist Programme Office Package is made available to the you. The extent to which this is used is at your discretion.
Minor portfolio amendment such as incorporation of client logo in documents is completed free of charge. Extensive portfolio amendment costs are accommodated by adjustment of contract duration.
These packages use common everyday IT tools such as Spreadsheets, Word Processors, Presentation Packages and Windows Explorer. For the not so common planning applications we provide tools to enable the inexperienced to become quickly effective in the use of Microsoft Project including the area of Deliverable Management.
Training will be conducted 'on-job' by the Portfolio Consultant. Training presentations, practical demonstrations and exercises are available, the tools for which are to be found within the Product Packages. These will be presented or conducted by the Portfolio Consultant at the request of the Client.
